The influence of some factors on velocity field in continuous casting tundishes has been veri- fied by means of computer simulation.These factors are tundish wall inclination;the dimensionless geometric size of tundish,the double inclined wall tundish;the dimension and location of weir and dam.

在开发描述中间包内钢液流动与传热三维耦合数学模型的基础上，对实际中间包内的流动和传热过程进行了计算机模拟仿真研究，考察了有／无流动控制情况下，自然热对流对中间包内钢液流动行为的影响，对流动控制装置的功能进行了分析与讨论

连铸中间包内夹杂物去除机理的水模型研究

通过选择乳状液滴模拟夹杂物和连铸中间包水模型实验, 考察了控流装置、浇铸速度 及夹杂物粒径对中间包内夹杂物去除行为的影响规律. 结果表明: 挡墙-挡坝组合控 流去除夹杂物效果最佳, 中间包内强湍流区夹杂物的碰撞、聚合以及向上和表面流速的 增加是主因; 中间包注流区加入冲击槽, 虽然其流体流动特征发生改变, 但对夹杂物 去除率的影响并不显著; 浇铸速度较高时, 仅靠控流装置的优化已不能很好地改 善夹杂物的去除效果.
